JOB PURPOSE:

Project manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while being accountable for successful implementation, billing commencement and overall customer satisfaction.  Success in this position requires serving as the single point of contact (POC) to the customer, coordinating across multiple groups and systems, professional and effective communication, timeline and critical task management, validating accuracy of all work completed, ongoing customer interaction and superior organizational skills. 

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively and efficiently project manage all business customer contracts, taking full responsibility for the customer experience from the time a contract is signed to service installation and billing commencement and verification.  
• Review and fulfill contracts for basic services with accuracy, ensuring compliance with current rate card, company policy and regulatory requirements. 
• Coordinate site surveys, installs, and other customer onboarding activities ensuring customers clearly understand project status throughout all phases, including outstanding, pending and completed tasks.  
• Meet or exceed defined key performance indicators (KPIs).  
• Facilitate customer relocations, renewals and service changes as they occur. 
• Partner with Account Executives to ensure we deliver a superior customer experience for all customers. 
• Proactively contact customers following installation to ensure customer satisfaction. 
• Proactively offer bill review assistance to all customers adding new services to ensure full understanding of monthly recurring charges, taxes and fees. 
• Ensure all special provisions, requests and instructions are recorded and executed per the signed contract. 
• Provide assistance and training to other team members. 
• Document customer interactions in a timely manner according to company and departmental policies and procedures. 
• Assist with special projects as required by performing duties such as creating, editing and proof-reading documents, performing research, soliciting feedback from others, or other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience required.   
• Three years of customer service experience required.  
• One year of telecommunications industry experience preferred.

• Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel & Outlook required.

JOB PURPOSE:

Lead network implementation and engineering field trials in Midco’s production network. Provides MOPs and standard configurations for use by other teams.  Assists with network design and troubleshooting of complex network issues not resolved in Tier 1/2 support.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Actively manage the design and maintenance of the Midco network. This includes, but is not limited to: LAN, WAN, and MAN networks, routers, switches, and optical shelves.
• Execute MOPs to implement network changes.
• Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, TCP/IP, OSI Model, Multicast, SNMP, and other commonly used networking standards and protocols.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to meet business goals.
• Communicate and maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation for passwords, diagrams, security, etc.
• Ensure proactively that the Midco network is secure from outside attack or penetration.
• Proactively plan for future capacity and execute related action plans.
• Work independently on large projects to augment networks, drive network standardization.
• Share in-depth knowledge of the Midco network and its components within team.
• Engage vendors to assist in testing new products and troubleshooting network issues.
• Ensure viable disaster recovery and back up plans are in place for all network elements.
• Propose development of system utilities and tools to enhance network performance metrics visibility.

• CCNA or JNCIA required. 

Network Engineer II-Architecture:

• Associate’s degree in related industry and/or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 9 years of network experience. Previous experience in telecommunications industry preferred.
• CCNP certification required.

Network Engineer III-Architecture: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related industry and/or equivalent work experience required. 
• Minimum 11 years of network experience required. 
• CCNP or JNCIP certification required. 

Network Engineer IV-Architecture: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related industry and/or equivalent work experience required.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sourcing Coordinator will be the liaison for cross functional teams in the execution of the different phases of the product (part) life cycle to support Midco’s strategic initiatives. You will help the organization achieve its goals through finding sourcing solutions for products at the ideal cost and quality. You will also find yourself analyzing data in your pursuit to identify potential areas for improvement for the organization.

Safety and efficiently provide parts and services at ideal cost, quality, time, and place while cultivating strong relationships with our team members, customers, and partners.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Manage data throughout the part life cycle to include item creation, attributes, and end of life planning and execution.
• Monitor item data integrity within various procurement and supply chain systems and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Works with vendors and internal team members to qualify new products (parts).
• Coordinate vendor, RFQ and RFI process, in support of the procurement strategy and business goals.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team and other internal stakeholders to conduct thorough RFPs and provide analysis on vendor submittals.
• Pull data to support the evaluation process of vendor performance.
• Partner with leadership to preform benchmark analysis to identify potential cost gaps and risk across commodities.
• Align strategy and tactical plans on product transitions with Operations, Finance, and Safety.
• Assist with the communication to stakeholders on introduction, modification, or discontinuation of products including transition of part numbers, the use of inventory and ordering expectations.
• Assist leadership with oversite of project tasks to support completion of initiatives through clear communication of expectations and escalating issues to leadership when they arise.
• Provide data and analysis to support re-negotiations of business and/or service agreements.
• Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco’s Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
• Adhere to Midco’s privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years minimum purchasing or supply chain experience required.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of parts management methodology. Strong understanding of Microsoft ERP preferred.
• Six Sigma/ Lean certification or exposure to these methodologies preferred.
• Telecommunications experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The noise level in the work environment is quiet.
• Required to periodically travel to other Midcontinent locations, supplier locations, and trade and industry shows.
• Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
